One Day, Three Cities: Your Ideal Ajmer Pushkar Jaipur Day Trip

This trip plan’s tough, yet doable if you’ve got your own ride and hit the road at dawn.

Phase 1: Morning in Ajmer (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM)

You’re in Ajmer already – so that helps. Head over to Ajmer Sharif Dargah early, while it’s calm; morning light makes it better. Since crowds haven’t arrived yet, you’ll actually see things clearly instead of rushing through. Hang there about ninety minutes – or close to two hours if you feel like it.

Phase 2: Late Morning in Pushkar (10:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

• Reach Pushkar by road in half an hour by 10:30 am and sit back and relax there after that start exploring the city.
• Start Pushkar by Brahma temple and after peaceful views and a calm lake there and many more nature places for peace.

Phase 3: Afternoon Journey to Jaipur (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

Lunch shows up around 1 PM – snatch a fast meal, mainly veggies, at some little spot in Pushkar. After that, head off toward Jaipur by half past one. The stretch ahead runs nearly three hours, shaping up as the day’s toughest drive. When the hectic start of the day winds down, kick back in the vehicle while moving towards Jaipur.  

Phase 4: Evening in Jaipur (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

Jaipur adventures start at 4 in the afternoon – make your way directly to the old district upon arrival. Begin with the City Palace, then move on to Jantar Mantar; these spots are super close. Prefer skipping inside? Just photograph Hawa Mahal from the street. Next up, drop into Johari Bazaar for quick buys before calling it a day.
